Ghosts and goblins and things that go bump in the night are popping up everywhere. Netflix and Prime are ready with seasonal choices, so I’m watching Ghosts just because it’s silly, and I’m not quite ready for Lizzie Borden on a Tuesday afternoon. But lots of other things are going on, too. For one, I’m in the midst of writing a novel and that is huge for me.
Since SilverGenes is now a hub site for what is happening in my life, including this new adventure in writing and experiments in painting and all that sort of thing, it makes sense to post things relevant to the journey. This seasonal bit of writing gave me the opportunity to test a few things in 4,000 instead of 40,000 words to see if some particularly peculiar ideas can work. And I’m very happy to report: they do!
It also allows me to use a graphic (not the one you see above) I made a few years ago in Photoshop, but never actually used. And the poor old fiction site definitely needed something new!
I can tell you this much — things are leading in very different directions and I think they are definitely worth exploring.
